Witchitaw hails from the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia. They have become known as the hardest working country band on the East Coast. To date they have recorded four full length albums in Nashville and one live album at the Cavendish Beach Music Festival. Their music has been recognized by the industry on numerous occasions - Witchitaw is proud to be a four time Music Nova Scotia nominee and a two time ECMA nominee. They have released eleven previous singles to Canadian Country Radio. Their last record, "Good Time & Now" boasts five singles that received airplay across the country. Three of the singles, One The Run, She's My Whiskey and Bocephus were also added to Sirius XM Satellite Radio across North America. To date Witchitaw has had 7 singles that were added to Sirius XM's playlists - with several songs being in high rotation for 6 plus months!
Throughout their hard driving career, Witchitaw has had the opportunity to perform at some of the biggest music events on the East Coast. They have performed at the prestigious Cavendish Beach Music festival 6 times, showcased at the East Coast Music Awards two times and they have showcased at the Nova Scotia Music Awards on five separate occasions. In 2021, Witchitaw did a Maritime theatre tour with their Blues Brother, Charlie A'Court. The tour, When Country Gets The Blues, was in support of their live record with the same name. "When Country Gets the Blues" was nominated in 2022 for the ECMA Country Recording of the year and then again in 2023 for the ECMA Blues Recording of the year.
